| To my son - Dave, I love you and I can hardly wait for your visit this weekend! I wanted to tell you about Brian, a dear friend of mine; we've been close since sixth grade. I recently learned that Brian lost his 10-year-old son, tragically and suddenly. I can't begin to imagine the grief and pain, and I feel bad that I don't know the right words or actions to reach out to my friend.
